Bob Seibold is a Senior Project Leader in the Civil & Commercial Launch Projects Directorate at The Aerospace Corporation. In his role as a NASA Special Government Employee, he is leading an Aerospace team supporting management of flight experiments for the NASA Flight Opportunities Program. He previously managed numerous technical tasks for the FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation. He has extensive experience in program management, ablative and thermal protection materials development, launch and reentry vehicle technologies, space hardware manufacturing, business development, and market research. He has a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University and an Executive Marketing Certificate from the UCLA John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management. He is an AIAA Associate Fellow and a member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, the National Defense Industrial Association, and the Air Force Association. He is a registered professional manufacturing engineer in California.
