Joe Zimo is a Spacecraft Systems Engineer who works within the Flight Opportunities and Small Spacecraft Technology program office at NASA Headquarters, where he applies his experience from the commercial space industry towards NASA projects and technology development. Prior to working with NASA HQ, Joe was a mechanical engineer at Accion Systems working on ion propulsion, and a lead systems engineer at Astrobotic working on Lunar rovers. Joe holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, and is currently completing a Masters degree in Space Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
